Lawrence Lacrosse Club


Join the High School Team! In the Spring of 2020 we will be playing in the Varsity and Junior Varsity Division of the Lacrosse Association of Kansas City League. We are one of 13 club teams in the metro area! Our high school programs are open to all high school students in the Lawrence area including Eudora, Baldwin, Ottawa, Garnett, Tonganoxie,Topeka, Perry-Lecompton, and all high schools further West to Manhattan! Our program is a non try-out program. No experience is needed to play! Regular Season Practices start in February are are M-F 4:30 - 6:30 at Broken Arrow Park. Games begin in March and there is a tournament in May for JV teams. Our home field is Eudora High School Stadium.

Due to field costs doubling this year our High School club fees have gone up to $450 + a $50 Refundable Uniform Deposit. Fundraising opportunities will be available to help with costs! A current US Lacrosse membership is required for all spring season players. A High School US Lacrosse annual membership is $35. US Lacrosse membership provides your child with secondary insurance coverage in case of injury and it provides our club with liability insurance. Club fees are used for uniforms, field costs, equipment costs, league fees, referee fees, tournament fees and coaching stipends. 

FRIENDS STICK TOGETHER $50 REFUND: Recruit a friend who registers to play this Spring and you and your friend will receive a $50 refund and have chances to win a new lacrosse stick. Limit 1 refund per player, No limit on raffle chances.


We have a supply of used equipment that we can provide for new players for their first season

Annual Parent/Player meeting and chili dinner is 5:30 pm on Sunday, February 9th at Wakarusa Township Fire Department. First practice is Tuesday, February 18th at 4:30 at Broken Arrow Park.

     Coach Trey Norris

Leading the charge is our Varsity head coach Trey Norris! Coach Norris was a face-off specialist and midfielder for the University of Oregon. He helped the Ducks to three conference titles and four national tournament appearances. He was named first team all conference face-off specialist both his junior and senior year as well as team captain his senior year. Coach Norris coached one season as an assistant coach for the Ducks where he coached faceoffs and midfield. Coach Norris was high school head lacrosse coach for his alma mater, Central Catholic High School in Portland, Oregon for three years and Lawrence Lacrosse Club's coach for the past two years! We look forward to an exciting Spring Season!

 Coach Brandon Newman
The Lawrence Lacrosse Club is very pleased to announce the hiring of new Junior Varsity (JV) coach Brandon Newman. Brandon's playing and coaching credentials make him a valuable addition to our High School lacrosse program.

Brandon comes to us after a stand-out college lacrosse career at the University of St. Mary, appearing in all 14 games as a senior Long Stick Midfielder (LSM). His honors included being twice named to the 2nd team All KCAC and leading the conference in Ground Balls and Caused Turnovers in both seasons. Brandon has experience with high school players while coaching with Fountain City Lacrosse for two years.

In addition to being the head JV coach, Brandon will also act as the Varsity Assistant coach. We are confident that Brandon's strong defensive abilities and knowledge will help make Varsity Head Coach Trey Norris's coaching staff one of the finest in the league.
